The Explorey TANKA V2 recovery rope is a similar rope to the original Tanka with the added Nylon-66 protector sleeve over the entire rope with a polymer dipped loop end. This protector sleeve allows for significantly more abrasion and stops sand, grit and UV damage getting into the underlying strands, letting you do more of what you do best! The downside is less elongation. The sleeve reduces the stretch of this rope by 17%, giving a large but modest total 30% elongation. More emphasis needs to be on getting the correct sized rope for the weight of your vehicle if you want an even and consistent recovery.
With that said, the TANKA V2 kills it out there! This is the perfect 4x4, heavy truck & agriculture kinetic recovery in bogged down situations for the soldier who hammers his gear. These ropes are heavier, stronger and can move a tank.

For safety we recommend:
- Using The Explorey rated soft-shackles on all kinetic and static rope connection ends
- Using the Infinite Rule hitch lock for a rated tow bar recovery point and safe towing point
- To never attach the rope to an unrated single or double bolted recovery point. Look for a solid chassis multi-bolted point like a bullbar, towbar (never a tow-ball) or solid axle. Use multiple attachments points evenly distributed on highly loaded pulls.
- For added safety on loaded pulls use a line damper and stand clear. If you manage to snap our recovery ropes they will generally fall to the ground with a minimal snapback. But still, keep your distance. We have never had a reported injury or vehicle damaged from any of our recovery ropes.
Our Warranties are No Nonsense Warranties. We will warranty you for all genuine product issues. All your orders are saved for life and we can find your purchase and warranty just from your name or email used when purchased.
Manifolds: 24 Month Warranty | If it cracks within this time we will warranty it. This does not include gaskets or bolts.
Light bars & Lighting: 5 Year Warranty | This covers the working of our light bars and light systems, the electronics and LEDs. If they stop working within that time return it for a refund or replacement. It does not cover cosmetics, rusting or smash damage.
Recovery ropes: 24 Month Warranty | If you snap it within this period without obvious signs of damage we will replace it.
Winch lines + UHMWPE lines: 6 Month Warranty | If you ever snap your rope where possible we will fix it for you free of charge. If you snap a winch line without obvious signs of overloading or damage we will replace it or fix it free of charge within 6-months of purchase. Due to the unpredictable usage of these ropes our warranty on them is limited. Take care of your winch lines and they will take care of you.
Soft-Shackles: 24 Month Warranty | Soft-Shackles are virtually never returned unless they are improperly connected to sharp edges which will caused them to tear. If used as we recommend they don't fail. We will replace shackles that fail under normal circumstances.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@explorey.co.nz. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
