Winch Lines
The Explorey Winch & Shackle rope systems are made from the highest quality synthetic materials available with our very own unique protective coating. We have improved on the base UHMWPE compounds that are used for both Dyneema and Plasma ropes, creating the world's most advanced and strongest line.
We pre-stretch each line and entirely coat them with a proprietary PU-based synthetic coating we call “Snake-Glaze”. This vinyl Snake-Glaze amour is imported from Belgium and applied individually to each rope giving them the highest rating 5-star resistance to UV damage, abrasion, sand and fading. This Snake-Glaze helps reduce line fraying with its anti-fuzz properties, making a far superior product that will out-last competitors. Our winch lines are colour branded every 2 metres to gauge the amount of rope you have out at any time.
The Explorey Snake-Rope winch lines - named for their innovative repeating 2-metre colour band and red 6m safety end-spool marker resembling the look of a serpent. Countless hours have gone into creating the strongest and most innovative winch lines on the market. Featuring our improved UHMWPE pre-stretched line with proprietary “Snake-Glaze” anti-fuzz/anti-abrasion armour. They come with strengthened tube gusset thimbles with removable heavy-duty winch hooks and tail mounting lugs (which can easily be changed to loop splices). We wrapped the first 3-metres of each line with a protective shield to help reduce abrasion on the most vulnerable part of the winch line.
